Glorilla, whose real name is **Gloria Hallelujah Woods**, is an American rapper and songwriter from Memphis, Tennessee. Born on July 28, 1999, she started rapping at the age of 16 after initially wanting to be a singer.
She gained widespread recognition in 2022 with her hit single **”F.N.F. (Let’s Go)”** featuring Hitkidd, which peaked within the top 50 of the Billboard Hot 100 and was nominated for Best Rap Performance at the 65th Annual Grammy Awards. This success led her to sign with Yo Gotti’s record label, **Collective Music Group**.
Glorilla continued to rise in popularity with her follow-up single **”Tomorrow”**, which featured a remix with Cardi B and became her first top-ten hit on the Billboard Hot 100. She released her debut EP, **Anyways, Life’s Great**, in November 2022, which entered the Billboard 200 at number 11.
In 2024, she released her debut studio album, **Glorious**, which peaked at number five on the Billboard 200. Some of her notable singles include **”Yeah Glo!”** and **”Wanna Be”** featuring Megan Thee Stallion.
Glorilla has won several awards, including Best New Hip-Hop Artist at the 2022 BET Hip Hop Awards and a similar category at the 2023 iHeartRadio Music Awards.

Gangsta Boo, born **Lola Chantrelle Mitchell** on August 7, 1979, in Memphis, Tennessee, was a pioneering Southern female rapper. She rose to prominence as a member of the influential hip-hop group **Three 6 Mafia**, making her the second female member of the group. She joined at the age of 14 and contributed to several of their albums, including their debut **”Mystic Stylez”** (1995).
Gangsta Boo began her solo career in 1998 with the release of her debut album **”Enquiring Minds”**, which featured the hit single **”Where Dem Dollas At?”**. She continued to release solo albums and mixtapes, including **”Both Worlds *69″** (2001) and **”Enquiring Minds II: The Soap Opera”** (2003).
In addition to her solo work, Gangsta Boo collaborated with numerous artists, such as Eminem, Run the Jewels, La Chat, Latto, GloRilla, and Outkast. She was known for her bold and unapologetic style, as well as her contributions to the Southern hip-hop genre.
Sadly, Gangsta Boo passed away on January 1, 2023, at the age of 43. Her legacy continues to influence many artists in the hip-hop community.
