Shawnna

Shawnna, born **Rashawnna Guy** on January 3, 1978, in Chicago, Illinois, is an American rapper and singer. She is best known for her collaborations with Ludacris, particularly on his hits **”What’s Your Fantasy”** and **”Stand Up”**, which peaked at numbers 21 and 1 on the Billboard Hot 100, respectively.

Shawnna signed with Ludacris’s record label **Disturbing tha Peace**, an imprint of Def Jam South, and released her debut studio album **”Worth tha Weight”** in 2004. The album featured the single **”Shake Dat Shit”**, which also featured Ludacris. Her follow-up album, **”Block Music”** (2006), included the top 40 single **”Gettin’ Some”**.

Before her solo career, Shawnna was a member of the female Chicago rap duo **Infamous Syndicate**, which released their only studio album, **”Changing the Game”** (1999), through Relativity Records.
