Diamond, whose real name is Brittany Nicole Carpentero, was born on May 20, 1988, in Atlanta, Georgia. She is best known as a member of the hip-hop group Crime Mob and for her solo career1.

Crime Mob: Diamond joined Crime Mob at the age of 15 in 2004. The group gained national attention with their hit single “Knuck If You Buck,” which was certified Platinum1. They released their debut album, “Crime Mob,” later that year and followed up with “Hated on Mostly” in 2007.

Solo Career: In 2007, Diamond left Crime Mob to pursue a solo career. She signed a management deal with Polo Grounds Music and released her debut single “Lotta Money” in 20101. Her debut album, “The Young Life,” was released in 2012.

Collaborations: Diamond has collaborated with various artists, including Ludacris, Trina, Eve, and Waka Flocka. She was nominated for Best Female Hip Hop Artist at the BET Awards in 2011 and 20121.
