Cardi B, whose real name is **Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar**, was born on October 11, 1992, in New York City. She gained widespread recognition through her appearances on **VH1’s Love & Hip Hop: New York** and her viral social media presence before releasing her first mixtapes in 2015 and 2016.
