BIA, born Bianca Miquela Landrau on August 16, 1991, in Medford, Massachusetts, is an American rapper and singer. She gained recognition through her appearance on the Oxygen reality television series Sisterhood of Hip Hop. In 2014, she signed with Pharrell Williams’ record label I Am Other, in partnership with RCA Records.
BIA’s first EP, Nice Girls Finish Last: Cuidado, was released in 2018. She is best known for her feature on J Balvin’s 2016 single “Safari” and Russ’s 2019 single “Best on Earth”. In early 2020, she signed a new record deal with Epic Records and released her second EP, For Certain, which included the hit single “Whole Lotta Money” featuring Nicki Minaj.
