Eve, born Eve Jihan Jeffers Cooper on November 10, 1978, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, actress, and talk show host. She gained fame with her debut album “Let There Be Eve…Ruff Ryders’ First Lady” (1999), which made her the third female rapper to reach number one on the Billboard 200.
Some of her most notable hits include “What Ya Want”, “Love Is Blind”, and the Grammy Award-winning “Let Me Blow Ya Mind” featuring Gwen Stefani. She continued her success with albums like “Scorpion” (2001) and “Eve-Olution” (2002), featuring hits like “Gangsta Lovin'” with Alicia Keys.
Eve also starred in the comedy film series Barbershop as Terri Jones and co-hosted the CBS talk show The Talk from 2017 to 2020. She has been recognized with numerous awards, including a Grammy Award, MTV Video Music Award, and BET Award.
